Covering the Convention Coverage

I don't know who Rob Anderson is, but I love his quips about this morning's convention coverage. See here, here, here and here.

This one was good too:

THE PERIMETER, MONDAY, 2:57 P.M.: With a little help from Mike Tomasky I was able to sneak into the Bell South Media Hospitality Center and nab a mediocre sausage sandwich. Not that I didn't appreciate the food, but it's a little hard to understand Bell South's thinking here. Do they really think reporters are going to turn around and start giving their company more favorable coverage just in exchange for a little food and drink? There doesn't seem to be any way to enforce the quo for their quid. On the other hand, I’ve been getting dissatisfied with my Verizon Wireless service lately, and I do hear good things about Bell South ... Matthew Yglesias
