Photographs Silenced

Today the news of Henri Cartier-Bresson's death was announced. At 95, he was one of the most acclaimed photographers - if not the most - of his generation. As noted in the NYT piece and elsewhere, his photos blurred the line between journalism and art, as he recorded the unfolding history of the 20th century.
