DavidNYC (sadly) illustrates all too well one of the ways the right-wing of this country is endangering national security.

The last couple of years were down to levels similar to 1994. Surprisingly, the peaks were 98-00 and not more recently. Whether the numbers have gone down for the pragmatic reason that we need every soldier we can get, or because most have been chased out already, it unclear. I am also curious to see a male/female breakdown of the number dismissed.
