Armand and Lord Voldemort

Apparently, we share the same personality type. We are both INTPs according to the Myers-Briggs Typology.

This gave me the same result. Since when am I an introvert? NTP I'll take, but... maybe it's just my desire to hide out this week since I know the onslaught is coming.

Well, if you were wondering Binky (though I know you don't read the books), the Harry Potter world example of an ENTP is Sirius Black, Harry's godfather. That's what our new friend in Philosophy (who told me about this quiz) is.

Oh, and as an aside, I love that the examples for ENFP's are the fun-loving Weasley twins. It somehow seems right that they'd have the same traits as Bill Clinton.

funny, the only MB i ever took identified me as eNFj, "The Teacher."

well, this one makes me INTJ, snape, which is silly. the real M-B i messed with had like a hundred questions or more.

Yes, I did one of those two. A family member is a certified Myers Briggs tester, and I've done it a few times, always ENTP. Very P. Wildly P. Flaming P. All three of us here are extreme Ps (yes, trips to the video store are amusing) so it's a wonder we ever got this off the ground.

Not that I totally believe in the MB test. It does have pretty unscientific aspects.

Uh-oh. It looks like you really better avoid me if you see me in a dark alley. First, this test says I've got the same personality type as Lord Voldemort. But that's not really THAT bad, right? Baltar and Binky both test as INTPs too after all, and they haven't murdered anyone (as far as I know). Well, I took this 4 variable test - http://www.okcupid.com/tests/take?testid=17325897279428986557 - that says what Buffy character you are most like. I came up as Adam, the Big Bad from season 4. Yup, I resemble a demon, human, computer hybrid who mutilates a young boy just because he's curious about what's inside and raises up an army of demons so that he can achieve every true villain's goal - world domination! Apparently we're alike because I'm really amoral and selflessness isn't at all my thing. Hmmmm. I'm just going to work on the assumption that that Buffy test is simply inaccurate. Nonetheless, it might be safer for any of you who cross my path to be at least a little wary of me.

Bro,
At least you got more interesting characters. I got stuck with Remus Lupin and Dawn Summers. Sure, they're noble and all, but not exactly the kind of people you want in your life to make it really interesting.

Posted by: Morris at August 21, 2005 05:51 PM | PERMALINK

Morris - Uh, how can you not like being Remus Lupin? He's a great character and about as noble as they come. Like some other INFP's, he rocks.

Dawn Summers seems very right for you - in ways both flattering and oh so very not.

Oh, and Joshua, remember that Adam and Lord Voldemort aren't merely overtly scary. They have the power to kill thousands on their own, but really don't prioritize the bother of all that. They are much more about conniving cunning plans to achieve their desired ends. So I might not be overtly scary ... but who knows what I'm secretly up to. ;)
