I like libertarianism, but I gave up on it as a political theory a while ago.Actually, I gave up on it for more or less this exact reason: libertarian principles require everybody else to be very moral, and very willing to act. As best I can tell, the median American isn't, and won't. Hence, the philosophy won't work.
