While I'm quite happy with my current car, one of these could be fun too.
Take the quiz.

I'm a Porsche 911!
You have a classic style, but you're up-to-date with the latest technology. You're ambitious, competitive, and you love to win. Performance, precision, and prestige - you're one of the elite, and you know it.
Take the Which Sports Car Are You? quiz.
badass. and exactly what i'd pick for myself. to drive, i mean. as myself, i'm thinking more like a subaru svx -- obscure, sort of pointless, prone to breakdowns, but a reliable favorite for those few who've acquired the taste. (or so i keep telling myself.)
Posted by: Moon at January 25, 2006 03:18 PM | PERMALINKYou are a Lamborghini Murcielago!
You're not subtle, but you don't want to be. Fast, loud, and dramatic, you want people to notice you, and then get out of the way. In a world full of sheep, you're a raging bull.
I can't say I wouldn't love to drive one, but somehow I think my Need for Speed game is as close as I'm ever gonna get.

All I got was an Audi TT. I don't hate them, but I'm not lusting after one, either.
Posted by: baltar at January 25, 2006 07:34 PM | PERMALINKIt was a soft top in the quiz, though I'm definitely more of a GTS kind of guy...
Posted by: jacflash at January 25, 2006 08:44 PM | PERMALINK'Vette? Full of plastic; not subtle; mostly driven by older, balding flabby guys?
I'm not sure I'd boast about that.
(Unless it's a Z06.)

Posted by: binky at January 27, 2006 01:06 AM | PERMALINKI had a Vette once, as some of you may recall. Great motor (LT5), giddy-making acceleration, good "handling" in the generate-big-numbers-for-magazine-tests sense, lousy effing car. (And GM didn't design or build the motor -- it was outsourced.) It was fun for a little while, but it got old pretty quick.
I understand the newer ones are nicer, or at least that they've improved some of the things that annoyed me most about the ZR-1. I'd still take an early Viper GTS over a new Z06. At least the Viper doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is. (And yes, binky, it's quite capable in non-straight lines).
