"Clearly Inebriated"

[EDIT: popular consensus says this is total crap.]

Secret Service agents say Cheney was drunk when he shot lawyer. And yes, I know what you're thinking. So does the author of the piece.

I'm still not all that interested in this. However I find it interesting - if this is true - that insiders are leaking on this.

Aw, you're no fun. :)

Seriously, I don't read CHB, and just followed the link from Liberal Avenger. It has that crazy feel to it, for sure.

On the other hand, Cheney being drunk seems more likely than not in the context of the facts. Not that it'll ever be proven, but still.

Linking to Capitol Hill Blue is like linking to NewsMax or World Net Daily.

hunting at one of these preserves but only having one beer at lunch is about as plausible as going to a strip joint and seeing no breasts or, to make this bipartisan, smoking pot but not inhaling.

OK, OK. It's total crap, I get it.

It's almost certainly not total crap, but it's worth looking for a more solid piece of reporting before we bank on it.

It might be crap - but it makes a lot of sense and explains behavior that is otherwise mystifyingly inept and crony-tastic. Not that Cheney's not often an inept, crony-lovin' guy, but ...
