South Park's Trapped in the Closet

For a public figure, Tom Cruise sure is a whiner. If you want to see what all the latest whining is about (Viacom refusing to rerun the latest South Park episode, Chef leaving the show, etc.) watch "Trapped in the Closet". It's a pretty good epiosde (or as good as one can be the features very little of Cartman and Kyle, and doesn't show Butters at all).

This just adds a final chink in my "no Tom Cruise" armor. The last movie I (reluctantly) voluntarily saw with him in it was Magnolia. Crap. Not the whole movie, him. He is such a one trick pony, and an annoying one at that. And now with the bully tactics... just, well, get over it. At least Parker and Stone have not gone quietly, even though their network is a bunch of cowards.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Scientology, you may have won THIS battle, but the million-year war for Earth has just begun! Temporarily anozinizing our episode will NOT stop us from keeping Thetans forever trapped in your pitiful man-bodies. Curses and drat! You have obstructed us for now, but your feeble bid to save humanity will fail! Hail Xenu!!!

-- Trey Parker and Matt Stone, servants of the dark lord Xenu

For more than you ever wanted to know about Scientology, there is an ex-/debunker site: Operation Clambake.

Yeah, I thought that was funny as hell. When I watched it, I did expect Tom Cruise to go apes**t, but for the pleas to come out of the closet rather than the scientology. Course I guess he looks far better defending his "religion."

After all, the slam on the Scientologists wasn't nearly as severe as the blast on Mormons awhile back.

And did you see the last statement from the SouthPark guys where they took on the role of evil supervillian determined to keep the Thetans trapped in human form?
