The AFT has endorsed state delegate Mark Hunt in the race to take on Congresswoman Capito. That should be a big boost for his campaign. The also made endorsements in the state senate races. As you will see, they apparently made no endorsement in our district where Mike Oliverio (technically a Democrat, but c'mon, really, get real) is running unopposed for reelection.

His basic theme seems to be that he's the experienced legislator in the race (several years in the state House, and a major staffer on the Judiciary Committee before that). It sounds like he's got a lot of experience on local issues, his immigration stand could accurately be described as "tough" and he's very much opposed to the Patriot Act.
He also seems to be woefully out of his depth on matters of foreign policy. But then he sounds like the kind of guy who will not end up specializing on foreign policy issues if elected, so maybe that's not that important.
