Persecuted Christians

Suffering apartheid? The Green Knight says no. With pictures.

It's a sad commentary on the Dutch church. Even one of their greatest theologians, Abraham Kuyper, has been (rightly) accused of racism. That said, there have been plenty of Christians who fought to end the problem as well.

Huh? This is a guy who says the US is like apartheid for Christians...

Doh! I've been caught red-handed skimming the linked article.

And I was worried my commenting privileges might be revoked.

Anyway...as a Christian, I can say that these guys are crazy. Persecuted? Really? I assume they mean that they risk life and limb just to worship each week. That they do so knowing that they could be arrested, or worse?

Give me a break. I suspect many of these folks would in fact NOT count themselves as Christian should such a stiff penalty be hung over them.

Hah. Commenting privileges are iffy if you 1) use the words "texas" "online" "poker" etc., 2) use the ellipsis (...), 3) lately, have a blogspot account. All three are things that comment spammers have been using lately. This is what caught our friend moon (who has a blogspot home). The only banning that happens here is due to spamming. And accidental confusion of posts with spam by our software. I usually sort it out eventually though, as is the case with moon.
