Bob Geiger's Saturday Cartoons

An excellent collection this week. I particularly enjoyed the Kim Jong Il.

Well I like the Stuart Carlson one too - as it gets at a comparison I can't believe isn't made more often.

The Bush's constant mantra of "We are weak! You - yes you specifical, are at great risk!! Be afraid!!! Be very afraid!!!! There could be a terrorist in your home ... right behind you, right now!!!!!!!" was a perfectly understandable mantra to adopt post-9/11 - it conveniently shifted attention to the big bad OTHER and diverted attention from Bush admin incompetence, failure to take the terror threat seriously. But hitting that for 6 straight years now ... ugh. It's revolting and demeaning.
