And speaking of the intersection of IR and popular culture...

...I'm looking forward to reading Harry Potter and International Relations.

And while you're over there, you should check out the post after that book review, on why it is so difficult to debate the war in Iraq.

That book actually sounds really interesting. Perhaps I should get it.

Though my next non-fiction is going to be the Greenburg book on the Supreme Court. That sounds like it's filled to the brim with delicious details.

I'm still struggling through a Peace to End All Peace, but mostly because I have no time for pleasure reading.

And, I found it amusing that of the five or six books I recommended for that list (from Wednesday's events) the one that got picked was A Distant Mirror.

The creation of that list was a true boondoggle, and does NOT speak well of the administration involved.

I'm slowly working through 2 works of fiction at nights - but I really do want to dive into the backstabbing and political fun of Supreme Conflict. But I guess I should finish 1 of the novels first.
