It's really never a good thing to wonder that - but especially when you've been up for hours, had lunch, and it's getting well past noon.

And note to self: when you close out your tab, that might be a good time to leave - not to reconsider, thinking, hmmmm I'm really enjoying myself so I'll stay after all and simply start paying for my bourbon with cash.
That said, at the time I was having a good time with rather charming company and didn't want to leave - so maybe staying 'til closing wasn't a bad choice after all.
But I really should have stopped drinking.
