A Princess is Born and Thousands Are Pardoned

I really don't think President Bush would feel the urge to pardon several thousand people and commute the sentences of over twenty-four thousand more if Laura gave birth to another Bush daughter. But apparently things are different in Morocco.

Given the quantities of SSRIs that W is rumored to be taking (and given their famous side effect), if Laura turned up preggers I'm not sure that delight would be his first reaction.

Where did you see the rumor about Bush and SSRIs? I'm curious about that.

It has made the rounds several times. Most recently, it was all over the 'sphere last year after somebody purporting to be a WH staffer posted a long series of insider comments to the Something Awful forums.
