There's a valid question he doesn't quite ask: given our potential adversaries' lack of super-modern fighters and advanced high-altitude anti-aircraft threats, do we NEED to replace the B-52s? Sure, they're old, and their basic design and layout still shows some WWII-era thinking, but they work, and they'll continue to work, especially with the B-1Bs and the B-2s we still have available.
