Manhattan

In a recent New Yorker, David Denby described this Woody Allen classic as the best movie about selfishness ever made. Agree? Disagree?

As to 99% of the movie, I guess I could disagree - but the rather wonderful last moment of the film makes me wonder about terming it that way.

And given Hollywood, US society and whatnot you'd think that there would be other great movies all about selfishness. A lot of dramas and melodramas of the 50's and 60's are what first spring to mind, but there must be more recent ones too.
