Is Stu Bykofsky Still Employed?

If so - why? If you owned a US newspaper would you feel comfortable paying someone to write columns that advocate mass murder? Aren't your advertisers and readers going to have a problem with that? Might not you as the publisher have a problem with that? It'll be interested to see what happens in this case.

ah yes, "righteous rage," the emotional state at the heart of the american way. i get what he's saying, and there are a number of relatively inoffensive ways to say it, but that wasn't one. also note how he tiptoed around precisely how 9/11 was "mislaid," never actually suggesting that our impatience with a four-year slog might have something to do with the fact that we no longer think it was worth four months or four days, because we now know the whole thing was farce, political theatre, no more relevant to alleviating the causes of 9/11 than No Child Left Behind is to improving education.
