Uh... TaRAYsah has been profiled and featured in plenty of society photos, even if she doesn't do the vacuous-pretty-girl-in-heels thing. I don't get your point.

You know, I get really irritated when people make fun of the way she says her name. That's the way you pronounce it in her native tongue... big effing deal.

Anything connected with John Kerry should be mocked as often as possible. Including Mrs. Heinz.

What does mocking him have to do with her? Her charitable work? Just because she loves a doofus, she deserves to be mocked? That's a tough standard, that most women on the planet would fail. An damn, you never know, maybe he has hidden talents.

My point is that if that had been a photo of a leading Democrat's wife she (and the leading Democrat) would be mocked at length as limo liberals, detached from the world of "real" America. I can hear Rush's "jokes" now. But the GOP talking heads don't find it elitist when it's one of their own.

yeah, and that teresa frequents such events is no answer to the idea that she and/or husband would be villified by the right for it. because, in fact, they both took their licks on that front. and as for "hidden" talents, how about the not-so-hidden ones, like the fact that he was pretty clearly not the spit-balling C student from the back of the class like his opponent.

I just get irritated about picking up the right wing anti-international meme when it isn't necessary. THere are plenty of ways to hate on Kerry without picking on his wife accent.

Plus, as a Portuguese speaker myself, I like the other pronunciation. Sue me.
