For Those of You Considering A Jude Law Rental ...

Nathaniel R has his list of the top 10 performances of one of the planet's premiere DILFs. As should be the case since he was utterly brilliant in both, Law's work in Ripley and Huckabees tops the list. Damn those were amazingly good performances. But there are a number of other things on here that you might not have seen, and he is indeed quite good in, for instance, Alfie (the movie's not great, but it's not bad either). So if you are looking for an excuse to spend an hour or two enjoying talent and pretty, here are some possible rentals. Oh, and for what it's worth I'd have put his work in eXistenZ in a list of his top 10 performances.

Hmmm. Where's Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow?

He's made more than 10 films Mo - obviously Nathaniel didn't think that was one of his top 10. Which I'd likely agree with. Though Sky Captain was kind of interesting in its way, the performances weren't all that good, except perhaps for Angelina Jolie's, which to me seemed perfect for the part/film.

Premiere DILF is right!!! I've seen all of his movies except for Final Cut...which I've ordered from Amazon. Most of them I love, or at least really like (exclude Shopping and Love You Love You Not). I'm with Nathaniel's top 10...but somewhere in there I'd have to squeeze in Immortality...artsy but good...or at least I think so.
