Since I know some of you who check us out are Michael Chabon fans, I thought I'd mention that last night I finished The Yiddish Policemen's Union. It's not my favorite Chabon ever, but it is quite good. It was more of a murder mystery than I expected (in terms of what drives the players and the plot) - but really it's about its characters, and Chabon, per the norm, vividly paints them and their world.
