The one in my yard? It's been stolen. Along with all the other Obama signs on my block.

Posted by: jacflash at September 6, 2008 06:38 PM | PERMALINKOf course mine was stolen months ago.
Sadly, I'm not remotely surprised.
Posted by: Armand at September 6, 2008 07:23 PM | PERMALINKOn your little cul-de-sac? I will say this, ours disappeared once high school started, but I believe it happened in the night. I was thinking about making a police report/calling the newspaper, since there were at least three that were taken at one fell swoop.
Posted by: binky at September 6, 2008 11:12 PM | PERMALINKI'm patiently waiting for my Obama/Biden sticker to arrive in the mail. Is it wrong that I worry about my car being vandalized after I put my bumper sticker on it? Then again, it might be some suppressed fear from 2000 when someone did vandalize my dorm door after I put a Gore/Lieberman sticker on it. Asses.
Posted by: kikimonster at September 7, 2008 08:54 AM | PERMALINKThats so crazy. Here, many many businesses have Obama signs in their windows. Of course we aren't allowed to have one in our window anymore now that my roomie works for a judge.
Posted by: ryan at September 7, 2008 10:16 AM | PERMALINKI sympathize with your roomie. Each of my several jobs from from 2003 until March precluded me actively supporting anyone, even to the extent that I had to ask Armand to humor my leaving a fundraiser thingamahooz in WV one evening, when I'd driven down to visit, notwithstanding that I really wanted to stay.
Now, I can do what I want, but, aside from giving money (which I almost certainly could have done as a First Amendment matter during those past jobs, but which seemed imprudent anyway), I have completely lost any shred of a habit for pressing my fews in the public square. I do, however, have an Obama/Biden magnet en route, and I'll be curious to see how long it stays on my car.
Posted by: moon at September 7, 2008 01:35 PM | PERMALINKSo have our Anne Barth signs. I think they're scared.
Posted by: Mountain Laurel at September 7, 2008 07:47 PM | PERMALINKWell, it seems we aren't the only ones getting signs stolen. Here's someone who set up a live web cam to catch the thief that has stolen multiple signs from the yard. Join the watch, if you're an insomniac.
