I don't know if I can make it through the whole debate

The lying... it burns!

First, McCain says that he suspended his campaign.

Second, he said that two years ago he, McCain, warned about the oncoming crisis and said that Obama and his cronies in Washington were to blame.

[smack smack smack]

That was the sound of my forehead hitting the keyboard.

I kept having to get up for more chocolate. I loved the part where he called--again--for a government spending freeze but then blithely assured Brokaw that we don't need to prioritize energy, healthcare and entitlements because "we can do it all at the same time." Eh?

That was the most boring debate ever. Brokaw sucked. The debate format sucked. I was basically bored the entire time.

Dullest debate ever? I'd say Obama won for the various reasons discussed on Talking Points Memo, 538, etc. But wow ... I've pretty much lost any interest in sitting through debate #3.

And please let that be the last time Brokaw "moderates" one of these. He was insufferable.

And obviously I should've approved/read Ryan's comment before bothering to type mine as, per the norm, we are of one mind.

Booooo-ring. Seriously. But Meg Whitman? Seriously? At least we now have some insight into McCain's job strategy: millions of Americans selling knick-knacks out of garages. Because unless he knows something I don't, those are the bulk of the 1.2 million "jobs" Whitman created.

No worries Armand, those comments bore repeating.

Not to mention, Moon, that Ebay laid off somewhere around 20K of its workers on Monday. Awesome!

I agree with everyone's comments. The format was AWFUL. McCain was condescending. (why call everyone "my friend"? why refer to Obama as "that one"?) Brokaw was actually NASTY at times. Seriously, dude, why such a stickler for the rules? But was it just me or did Obama and McCain never shake hands? At the end, after the debate was over, Obama walked over to McCain, extended his hand, McCain said something... and Obama shook Cindy's hand instead. What the hell happened there?

They shook hands, but the cameras didn't catch it b/c Brokaw was complaining about them being in front of his teleprompter.

Pissy little man. Grr. All I saw was that weird afterward with Cindy.
