Hmmm - well wouldn't the "Algeria option" include 4 of the first 6 possibilities?

Any thoughts on the "Nicaragua option" mentioned in the comments on her page?

Well, not ONLY those 4 things were done, obviously. :) The coup helps ensure things too. But if you also look at the elections they did have ...

Oh yes, right. I just meant that she didn't have "vicious military coup" on the list, and was thinking Algeria 1992.
