Not just an airport: one where the security checkpoint is physically closed between flights because the TSA officers are out front checking checked luggage in the check-in hall.

I get the sense you have a certain familiarity with this garden spot. Is this an airport that serves Huntington, or is it just nearby?

Yeah, it serves Huntington, Ashland, and whatever else is around there. One of my trips this summer ended up cheaper through HTS than PIT (!) so I made its acquaintance.

Aaaaand the update we've all been waiting for: but of course, the items were not in fact related to weapons at all. Bonus harassment points to the TSA for singling out a woman of Pakistani heritage.
