McCain-XXXXXX; And Cindy Is Spooky

So since John McCain wrapped up the Republican nomination last night it's not surprising that there are pieces out there today focused on his potential running mates. Someone, I forget who, was touting Chris Cox. This piece is the Times hits on the usual names (Sanford, Pawlenty, Huntsman, Crist, Ridge, Portman, Romney and Huckabee). So if you feel like making a Wed. afternoon guess, feel free to do so below. Or if you feel like trying to describe what Cindy McCain looks like in that photo, you could do that too. That's ... a weird look. Vaguely creepy.

Cindy is terrifying. Perhaps she looked better 30 years ago before she was cryogenically preserved.

Wow... that's just a bad camera angle for everyone in that picture. I'll put my money anyone but Huckabee. If he picks the Huckster, he'll lose any possibility of attracting moderate Dems.

Yah, and he would only be gaining evangelist republicans with huckster, not other conservative republicans who rather than vote in their own election decided to jump ship and vote for hillary. I don't see them voting for a McCain Huckster ticket any more than they'd vote for a McCain anyone ticket. Huckster will to his own dismay end up as something like education secretary. Personally I'd be surprised if it was anyone but Crist if it looks like Hillary gets the nod. But there's all this talk on Jews not voting for Obama, so if it's him McCain may feel he has Florida in hand and go with an Af Am running mate like Steele or JC Watts to cancel out the equality card.
