Okay, I had largely ignored the fact that a movie version of G.I. Joe was being made. I mean I knew it was, but figured it'd be a total mess devoid of any value. But the cast has suddenly put this on my must-see list. Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Cobra Commander? The Doctor, I mean Christopher Eccleston, as Destro? I am so all about that. Oh, and no Xomat and Tomax? That's disappointing.

Well, the Doctor and Destro will probably work well...no idea what do think about Gordon-Levitt. I like him sooooo much generally.

But yeah, it is bizarre casting, even if it's pleasantly so.
