Louisiana Democrats Love Cockfights
I should note by the way, given the post below on the the Senate race in Louisiana, that Chris John is hardly the only Louisiana Democrat to favor keeping cockfights legal in the Bayou State. An effort to make Louisiana the 49th state to ban the practice died in the state House Agriculture Committee recently on a 9-5 vote. It might be worth pointing out that all 9 members who voted to keep cockfights legal were Democrats.
