Just about everything important can be forced through a Tolkien lens. Good to see we're keeping that trend alive.

So, what we need to find is a sword-wielding cross-dressing woman with noble ties to lop off the head of a head Nazgul, right?

Too true, except for one quibble - is Jim Inhofe really competent enough to be a Nazgul? I doubt it.

Hey, we never really know anything about the Nazgul. I'm sure one of them was picked on by the others. In any event, can't you be dumb as a crate of anvils and still be a Nazgul? Intelligence isn't a requirement, is it.

That's a really good question - does the Silmarillion include more on them? Or do we only know that they were all kings? It doesn't necessarily take great skill to be a king. Though to be so feared, I always figured they must have been pretty competent at death, torture and destruction. Not that Inhofe couldn't accomplish such things (see the vote listed above), but I just don't see him being as efficient and competent as my (possibly inaccurate) image of the Nazgul.

Um, I have the Silmarillion. Not that I'm going to, like, run and look it up or anything. Be right back...!
