I'm wondering if all of this fits into yesterday's conversation about high school popularity. I mean how could you possibly live the life Nada Surf sang about if ya'll were spending so much time learning differential equations and the periodic table? :)

New York indie band - their work in this decade has gotten surprisingly good reviews, given that they are still probably assumed by many to be a one-hit wonder on the basis of their song "Popular" from the mid-1990s.

i scored 58. a similar mix of arts and science to other people here, but nothing that might be mistaken for the savant-ish memory of which i'm so envious.

I think it all goes back to my attempt to memorize the periodic table back in 6th grade. (There was a class prize for the student who could list the most elements on a quiz. I was determined to win it, and did.)

Dude, embrace your lack of geekdom. It's no big deal. They asked the wrong questions. It was too focused on computers. If they'd asked what "To Hit AC0 for a 7th level fighter" was, I'd have smoked it.
