How else to explain the fact that no one I know is throwing a Golden Globes party? I mean apart from Halloween isn't tonight the holiest of nights to the gays (or I should say the gays, as seen on tv)?

I guess I also just find it a funny comment since you are so famously friendly and know most everyone in town. And if there was a whole town of teh gay in the Appalachians ... well surely we would have heard all about the threat to America that it posed on the 700 Club.
