Any Favorites for the Nobel Peace Prize?

So I think the Literature award will be announced tomorrow, and the Peace Prize announcement is just days away. Do ya'll really think Al Gore will win it? Are there other possibilities you think are strong candidates? Personally, I think I'd lean toward Lidia Yusupova, but I'm not well-versed enough in the worlds of human rights and conflict resolution and the like to know who all the leading candidates are.

Gore is actually favored to win it.

Well that brings up another question - how accurate are odds on the Nobels? And do you think it varies by discipline? I've seen a lot of reporting highlighting Gore's chances, but I've wondered if that's due to American bettors favoring a famous American.

But yeah, I guess if that holds we'll soon be able to say Nobel Prize winner Al Gore. That should make Bush, Rush and the Clintons so very happy - or not.
