Maybe I'm Back

I sure hope so, because I want to blog about stupidity on the part of school officials in West Virginia, spurred on by idiot parents, who think that they can create something akin to the MPAA to rate liberry books.

Insert head slap here.

I'm glad you are back; I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that Pakistani LAWYERS care more about Constitutional Law than AMERICAN Senators (one group is out protesting martial law; the other group is in the midst of approving an Attorney General who has admitted that the President of the United States can ignore law at appropriate times).

I want a farm very far away from everyone. And maybe some guns.

Dude, I think that farm may need to be in New Zealand... assuming the DHS will approve your travel request and allow you to fly there, that is.

Wait, do I read this correctly - they are still assigning the Prince of Tides, but they can't discuss (that incredibly short and not all that graphic) part of the book that's key to the whole story? That's bizarre.

This is an unfortunate repeat of history in Kanawha County. In 1974 a similar textbook controversy resulted in violence and temporary closure of the Kanawha County School System.
