It's a case of dog bites man, sure. But hey it's also kind of interesting that if you ask lesbians which women are hot you're likely to get a rather different set of answers than you'd be likely to get if you were asking, say, the publishers of Maxim. I think that both Helen and Meryl Streep are in the top 50 is pretty cool.
And with Ms. Jolie and Ms. Winslet in the top 3 (plus Alice), I put a lot more faith in these rankings than in those produced by the likes of Maxim.

Yup lots of women who are lesbians, might be lesbians, play lesbians ... something like social identity theory at work in determining hotness?
Something else that stood out to me is that there are relatively few blondes at the top of the list.
