Does anyone want to go out on a limb and make some predictions? Over at Awards Daily there are tons of 'em if you are filling out a (for entertainment purposes only) betting form and trying to guess who will win what. But are there any winners you expect to see emerge, especially in the tight races? Are there any nominees you'd really like to see win (or lose) on Sunday night?

I'd love for In Bruges to win original screenplay, but that's unlikely it appears. WALL-E winning screenplay would be kind of neat if it can't be In Bruges. It does seem Kate Winselt's time to win an Oscar, though I can't really fairly evaluate the category. Hellboy II's Make-Up was awfully impressive. And as much as I'd like to see Downey win Supporting Actor, I wouldn't wish that on him - most seem to think that belongs to Ledger, and anyone who beat him would instantly become unpopular with many.
